data-centre

Dedicated space for housing IT infrastructure including servers, storage and networking. Often relates to a large room, a floor or even an entire building. Due to the mission critical nature of the systems housed here, access to data-centres is normally highly restricted. Access even for IT staff will be restricted and systems management is achieved remotely (also under strict network security controls).
